Katie is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan where she received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Psychology. Her honors thesis investigated the relationship between a father's use of warm responsiveness and physical punishment and the attention problems of his children at both pre-school and school age. More broadly, Katie is interested in the complex relationship between parenting style and child psychopathology. She would like to attend graduate school in the future in order to obtain a PhD in child clinical psychology. She would also like to continue to examine parent-child interactions and the way in which they can influence a child's development and mental health.
