Amanda Brodish received her B.A. in Psychology from Boston College in
2000 and her Ph.D. in Social Psychology at the University of Wisconsin,
Madison in 2007. Amanda is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Achievement
Research Lab. Her research focuses on how gender, race, and aspects of
the social context (e.g., stereotypes, perceptions of discrimination) affect
academic performance, motivation, and career choices. In addition,
Amanda is interested in how people construe issues of race and the impact
of these construals on thoughts, feelings, and social behaviors.
