 Current research interests are in field experiments on the treatment of juvenile
delinquency, focusing particularly on alternative secondary schools. His other
interests include social psychological theory, the influence of close
relationships, and adolescent development. Gold has taught courses on adolescence,
juvenile delinquency, social psychology, and the application of science to public
policy.
