Krim earned his Ph.D. in sociology from Wayne State University in 2007. His areas of interest include domestic violence and substance abuse among minority and immigrant populations. Krim’s current research examines the impact of socio-economic status, family characteristics, and emotional/psychological factors in minority women’s continuance in violent relationships. In the past, Krim has also been engaged in research that aimed to address the contribution of demography to disparities in the receipt of special education services.
