Current research focuses on urbanization’s effects on individuals’ social attitudes.
His work suggests that urban-suburban-rural differences in political conservatism may be
disappearing in the 21st century. Other work has examined intergroup and political
attitudes from a social dominance perspective, the relationship between stereotype
subscription and judgments of societal fairness, the nature of symbolic racism, and
symbolic racism’s association with facial memory.
