Approximately 1,500 adult inpatients were interviewed using a test/retest format with either a clinician structured interview or an interview based on the DSM-III-R Checklist. Data were also collected from patient charts and a psychiatric history file maintained at the Detroit Psychiatric Institute (DPI). |
